Are you going to use this in the kitchen? If so, I would caution you to use no grout joints, which means you need to use what’s called a gauged tile .
Why do I say that? Because grout in the kitchen is going to be really hard to keep clean over the years, with all the different kinds of food stains that are in kitchens.
This is such a food-contamination problem, that the Health Codes (NSF) that are used in restaurants, all over the nation, prohibit ceramic tile countertops.
The ceramic tile floors we see in the back-end of restaurants, in their commercial kitchens, are grouted with epoxy grout. Epoxy grout is very difficult to install and it is expensive.
