Bryan....I would have a piece of plexiglass cut for an exact fit. You can add a table cloth then pictures then put plexiglass on top. I have a coffee table from the 1940s of my parents and my dad had a piece of the glass cut and my mom displayed pictures under it and now I do the same.

You could have a piece of glass cut to fit the tabletop and slide the photos underneath of that.
