How can I make a stove top cover?

I posted a very detailed stove cover design and fabrication a few months ago. It is fire proof and won’t melt.

If you can’t find it, let me know.

Essentially it has a cementitious fiber board structure (Hardi backer board) that is covered in mosaic ceramic tiles.

DIY Stove Top Cover

I endlessly searched for inexpensive covers I liked. I finally decided to try my own DIY idea (I’m sure it’s been done before):

• I bought (2) baking sheets
• Sprayed with high heat spray paint
