It’s back to school season, and most teachers are heading back to the classroom this month. This classroom wreath is a cute way to welcome students back to school.

I found a bag full of beautiful apples at Goodwill San Antonio, and I thought they would make a beautiful wreath. I used vinyl from StyleTechCraft to create the welcoming message inside the wreath.

Supplies Used to make a Classroom Wreath for Back to School:

  • Wire Wreath Form (16 inches)
  • Artificial apples
  • Various Ribbons
  • StyleTechCraft’s Glossy Vinyl in Yellow and Green
  • Cardboard
  • Hot Glue Gun

I wrapped the center of the wreath form with green ribbon. The hot glue will not attach to the wire wreath form well, but it will glue onto the fabric ribbon. Hot glue the apples to the wreath form. Start with the largest apples first. After that, fill in the open spaces with the medium and small sized apples.

First I designed the text to go inside the wreath. You can add whatever text you like here. It would be cute to personalize it with the teacher’s name. Then I cut and weeded the green vinyl. I used transfer tape from StyleTechCraft to transfer the text to a piece of yellow vinyl. I then transferred the yellow vinyl to a piece of cardboard.
