1950’s nightmare bathroom!
How would you update this 1950’s pink tile bathroom?
This bathroom hasn’t been touched since it was built in 1956. It’s in a property we’re considering purchasing. Pink and green tile galore. I was wondering if there were any ways to update this without removing the tile? I definitely know the pink has to go. Any ideas on how you would tackle this project? Sorry for the dark lighting in the picture. That’s another issue!

I found an article for painting ceramic tiles in a bathroom. If it were me I would use the latex paint method as opposed the the epoxy. Good luck! https://www.todayshomeowner.com/how-to-paint-over-ceramic-tile-in-a-bathroom/
You can paint the tile. You just need to use the right kind of paint
You can definitely paint the tile white. I painted tile in my pink tiled bathroom and it lasted for ten years until I completely remodeled. You can use Homax tub and tile paint and be done. Or you can use BIN Shellac based primer and then whatever color and kind of paint over top of that. Both products are at Home Depot...you need to also buy a respirator mask because both products are really stinky.
You can paint the tile. Rustoleum makes a tub and tile refinishing kit. You will need to use a respirator mask when using this product.

I'd put a half wall on the toilet side and the rest glass. It will give the Room a more open look. Don't know what kind of Toilet but I'd put a low boy in.
