Do you have a framed picture you absolutely love but it is too small for the space you would like to display it in? Here’s an idea to take your print to the next level. To see this and more ideas follow my Instagram!

Paint your boards if you want that look. A wood look is nice, too! Be creative. You can buy uniform wood like I did OR you can use pallet wood or scrap wood that you may have on hand. Make it your own!

Hammer your boards to your plywood OR 1x2’s. If you use plywood like me, expect your finished product to be quite heavy. If you use 1x2’s you will use three pieces. One on each side, and one between them for hanging. I staggered my boards to give a more appealing look. See video for clarity.

Once you’ve secured all of your boards to your plywood or 1x2’s, attach one central nail that will be used for hanging your print.

You now have a beautiful backdrop for your print, and can even change it out as you get “the itch to switch”.
