Can you help me identify this flower?
It is about 6 inches tall, It poked up in the center of my yard. I have not planted anything anywhere around there. I'm totally stumped. It's cute but... what is it? How big will it get?

Here's a link on the Amaryllis Belladona. The red ones are sometimes called Red Coats. Mom had one come up in front yard in Richmond VA. She left it alone and it bloomed many years. Seemed to pop up overnight.
....Looks like a stray bulb of a red spider lily ended up in your yard. They come up first with slender leaves later. My daddy called them naked ladies and a friend has yellow and cream colored ones. In time you should have several blooming at once. Enjoy.
