Hello! Bona makes excellent mop spray cleaning system for both laminate and traditional hw floors. We have had hardwood floors in our 7 different homes and have used a lot of HW floor products over the years. We stopped using the steam mop when it started blistering off the finish at the seams on a new traditional oil based sealed oak hw floor installation.
The past two years we have been using the BONA mop and solution and we’re very pleased with the results.

Real wood or laminated wood?
If it’s solid wood, then what condition is the polyurethane in? If it’s in tact, then I would use a solution of Murphy’s Oil Soap.
If you’ve specific stains like pet urine or black heel marks, then those need different cleaning measures.

I use a shark steam mop on my floors. It disinfects and works great
