How can I create drainage for a low area in my backyard?
I have a long low area in my backyard that is dedicated to a JEA right of way. Every time it rains, I have a pond of water there. Because of this situation, I cannot walk in this area when it rains. What can I do to make this area useable/ walkable?

Google dry bed and bog plants
We put in a sort of dry well which might help, or French drains. You can see what we did here: https://www.flippingtheflip.com/2016/06/yard-works.html
You have options. You can regrade the yard. You can order fill dirt. You can add a dry creek bed. Or plant water loving trees to absorb the excess water.
Hello there,
You could plant willow to take up water or other trees or shrubs, or Dig down and make a soak a way or french drain, or raise the level of the soil in that area, or build a bridge over it or if not to deep use duckboards or old pallets to walk on or ofcourse give in and form a natural pond, bog garden..............
Thank you for all the suggestions. I’ll fully consider them all before choosing.
