How can I make realistic Marvel Infinity Stones?

by Cindy Rubin

My son, 28 yrs old, is practically a walking Marvel Encyclopedia. I would like to make him the infinity stones from the movie Marvel's Endgame...but they can't be 'kid-like'. I'd like them to glow (LED lights perhaps?) IDK what to do with them... fridge magnets, some sort of Christmas ornament?? But if I could make them for him, they would really 'ROCK his world'!

(Sorry, had to say it...lol)

What a beautiful idea Cindy. I bet your son is going to be over the moon. You can get glow in the dark resin in blue and green as far as I know. And maybe play around with making models for the resin to set in our of aluminium foil to get that crystal shape. Or you could use one of those plastic eggs that the kids always get at Easter for a mold. Oooo I really hope more hometalkers share their thoughts. I'm so keen to see what everyone comes up with.

    Hi Cindy,

I can't believe it! I actually found a video on youtube by a young man called The Costume Kid. Take a look at his video to see if it helps you. Wishing you the best.

      Hi Cindy,

Okay, so I kept looking and look what else I found. The good part is that he list's all the materials he used so don't worry about writing them down during the video.

In March I bought green vinyl rings that light up. The were designed to be St. Patrick's Day trinkets. I bought them because each ring had 3 tiny batteries that just happen to be the right size for a weather station my husband uses. At Dollar Tree I got 2 rings for $1. That was 6 batteries for one dollar. This is a good time to find battery operated lights because there are loads of Halloween trinkets now and soon we will see Christmas stock.
