    Hi Brendella,

Here's an interesting article that gives you the information you want with a lot of other history about crickets in the home. I hope this helps you. Wishing you the best.

    Hi Brendella,

These little brown crickets are the living pits, they are quiet all day and let loose at night with their chirping keeping the sensitive sleepers awake for hours, they always seem to be under something so your can;t clobber them.

Linda is right, seal up all cracks and crevases, and keep doors shut so they can't come in with you. If they are coming into your house in masses, you may want to consider calling a pest control company.

Sprinkle 20 Mule TEAM borax around all your windows and doors. You can find it at WM in the detergent isle.

I make a spray that I use around my window and doors and around our deck. to keep out spiders and bugs. 10 drops each of tea tree oil and lavender, a few drops of dawn and some distilled water. Shake well before using. Smells good and gets rid of my spiders and ants and small bugs. I haven’t seen any crickets here so it may work on them also. Repeat about every 7-10 days.
