For the best outcome with any tie dying, use only fabric that is 100% cotton.
Regular dye will not adhere to synthetic (such as polyester) fibres, resulting in blotches or very weak colors.

Buy enough dye and tie with cord or by hand or elastic and follow instruction on dye for a unique look!
Use rubber bands in the pattern you want and use a plastic storage bin in the yard. No worry about spills or stains outside.
