What tools should I use to attach MDF trim to the wall?

We do both
I would only use nails. If you use any glue the trim would be very difficult to remove if you had to.
Some can be ironed on
You can do both or just nail. You will be caulking to finish.
Either! Usually nails are easiest.
I always nail. Caulk seams. Easier to remove. Glue it and you'll damage the if you need to remove it. Never heard of gluing any trim.
Nails. If you want to remove it ever, you will hate yourself. Scraping glue is a pain in the butt. Get a nail gun. It's worth it for trim!
