Ferns like shade and don't attract bees.
Hi Sharon,
Heucherella is one of my favorites - especially the variety called Pumpkin Spice. As soon as it is done flowering, I cut the stalks down so bees are not an issue. Wishing you the best.

Hostas! They do get flowers later in the summer but I have never noticed any bees--atleast not in any great numbers.
