How can I hide or decorate ugly ceiling vents?

I have some old, ugly vents in my ceiling and I saw some cute ideas on how to hide them or make them look prettier.

Linda.. A good spray paint with cover amazingly well also.
Spray paint can do wonders to refurbish older vents. Ive done both ceiling and floor vents.
Clean well and paint them the same color as the ceiling.
