HI Beth,
List those things you need to run your business- office wise and allow an area for that. Make another list of Storage required and make a space for that. If you are actually make things, then you require a place for that too. Draw a ground area of the place to scale, and the items of furniture /fittings to be within (all to scale) Then play about with the design until it flows well. Don't forget you will also have wall space too. Good luck.

Without knowing what you need to store, I can say that we really like (and have 3) the big heavy duty metal shelving units from Costco. They're big enough to hold large storage bins.
