Use peel and stick wallpaper. It also comes with decals so you won’t have to do the entire wall. Hang a curtain rod and then string with clothes pegs and hang pics or artwork. Command hooks would work to hang a fabulous fabric you can buy from ikea.

Either Make up a frame and stretch a fabric over it or Curtain it, or fix it with pins.
