You can spray paint, block off parts with tape and spray, remove tape and voila! Trace a design from coloring book. And hand paint with acrylics.

Hi Pam. I'm Cindy. You could use painter's tape to create squares. Then paint the squares to look like a checkerboard. Or use a Q-Tip to make polka dots. Or paint the pot whatever color you like. Then run a string through a mixture of glue and paint and put it on the pot. This would make swirls or other fluid lines. Good luck Pam.
