Spectricide makes a spray for around your house (outdoors) specifically for spiders. If they are indoors, set sticky traps. Keep AWAY from pets and children. There are 4 to a box and work really well. You set them in a tent shape but I just lay flat on floor in a corner where pets and children can't get to. About $4.00 a pack.

Spectracide is one of the best things out there for pests and weeds for killings little critters and weeds. It is safe to use around your dogs and cats too. Great for gnats as we having standing water here on a golf course that I complain about constantly in Mesa, AZ. I am sick of these mosquitoes.

Hi Darcie: I use a product called Ortho's Home Defense. Spray around the walls and windows, and near where pipes come into the house. Don't spray the floor, though. Anything that kills bugs can harm your pets, so keep it off of the floor or where your pets walk. I've used this for years, it has no smell and one spray will last for about 4 or 5 months. Even when it's dry, if a bug walks across the stuff, it will kill it.

Seconding peppermint spray/oil. Love the smell so that's a bonus for me.
