How do I get rid of fleas that are on dogs and cats?

You can be rid of fleas in the home with soap and water, but you have to rid it of whatever is bringing it in. Do you have a pet coming in from out of doors and bringing them in? If so, they need bathed daily until the yard is rid of fleas. Sevin dust will rid the yard of fleas, especially if you place it in the areas where a pet prefers to lie. Your pets can get ill from Sevin dust if they are in it too much or are pups/kittens. Keep them out if the area of the yard where you put Sevin dust if you can. We did this and we got rid of them.

The only thing that worked for me was professional grooming and flea dip. Then we followed up with flea drops recommended by the vet. No problem after that.
