Why doesn’t the screw go into wall with electric screwdriver? Trying to hang pole over/ outside vertical blinds - hit something!

Sometimes electricians put the electric wiring in either a metal cable/pipe, or put a metal plate over the area to prevent you from accidentally electrocuting yourself. So move the area over for the brackets and try again.

Try using a finish nail and a hammer. Slowly hammer the nail left or right of the hole you have and see if it goes in.
