  • Hi Liz - This is the shower cleaner that we use to help keep grout and tiles clean and minimize the mildew - it works on kitchen grout too. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

The easiest way is to use a Hurricane Turbo scrubber. You can get them on line or at Walmart and they take all the hard work out of it. We use our normal non-toxic cleaner to use with it. Another method is to mix 1 cup of vinegar with 3/4 cup of dawn dish soap and heat it in the microwave 1 minute. Let it set until it is not too hot to pour in a squirt bottle. Squirt all over the tiles and let it set half an hour or more. Turn on the fan and use a paper mask over your mouth and nose if needed as it is strong smelling. Then spray it with water, wipe it down with a cleaning rag, and it should all come right off.

  • Hi, Liz!

A Mr. Clean Magic Eraser with Dawn works really well, too! I hope this helps!

Hi Liz, hope this helps you. Make a paste of baking soda and water, watered down hydrogen peroxide, a paste of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda or a solution of ammonia and water (half a cup of ammonia per gallon of water). Apply these products only to areas with a substantial buildup of soap scum and not to any clean, bare slate. Wipe them away and then rinse and dry the slate surfaces when you're finished.
