The Pirouline cans measure 6 in. tall by 2 1/2 in. round & have tin lids. Gotta be good for something.

You can paint them if that's what you are asking. Lightly sand them with 220 grit- clean all dust off-prime-then paint with latex paint. May need a couple coats.
