I use what professional window cleaners use. Warm water with a few drops of Dawn, a sheepskin applicator and squeegee. On the interior, for less drips, I use a spray bottle of equal parts alcohol, vinegar and water with 3 drops of dish soap. I NEVER use Windex as it streaks. Sprayway makes a foaming glass cleaner that is quite good. You can buy it from home depot.
Every time I clean my mirrors, they end up having tons of streaks and almost look worse than before I started. What could I use to clean them that won't leave streaks...

To clean messy, I use 50/50 ammonia & water with a couple of drops of blue Dawn in a spray bottle.
If there's no mess, just clearing up for a streak free finish I use a damp microfiber cloth. SuperCloth is my favorite.
