I used baking soda. sprinkle liberally over anything rugs and wood floors, couches etc. Leave on for a day (2 days are better) The sodium makes them dehydrated and they die.make sure to vaccuum really good. Also give you pet a pill that you can get from the vet. Can't remember the name but the fleas die off of them within 8 hours.
