Hi Michelle bead board is always a nice choice for wainscoting. In a kitchen you will need to protect it well so you can wipe any wood surface down that you decide on using.
I agree with Grandmas house... but there are faux board beading panels . Check out Home Depot, Lowe’s... you can do only a portion of the wall and paint the rest. And there is also wall paper bead board. The information and photos on Pintrest.
My thinking was doing the whole wall because I have either doors or windows or cupboards on the walls so there isn't much wall space to see really just need ideas 😉😊😁 please like one wall for example has 2 doors and a built in shelf's for food and another has 2 windows and so on
use frames chicken wire on the top of your walls, and barn wood on the bottom. You can either hang stuff one the outside or put precious item inside of the chicken wire to protect your treasures.
