Hi Sharon! Many styles go well with a farmhouse table. I love the painted top and stained seats. Here’s some more great examples! http://www.laurenmcbrideblog.com/2016/08/best-farmhouse-dining-chairs/

Wooden ones look best, even if they do not match it does not matter with a farmtable, it adds to the atmosphere.

My Grandmother had 14 kids. They had a long table and a long bench of course.......lol, but all the chairs that she had, didn't match. They were ALL different......as were the kids......9 girls and 5 boys. Numbers 12 and 13 are the only ones left. They didn't have a glamorous house, but they had a lot of Laughter. They didn't care what the chair looked like, but they loved her GREAT cookin'......and it was plentiful.....a walk down memory lane. ;)) In my dining room, I had an Amish man make me an Oak table with 6 chairs. I have 2 chairs around it. 1 ladder back oak and an odd 1 that I padded the seat. The table is loaded with pictures of my 4 sons and their families. ;)))
