How do I get rid of the smell of underarm odour on a velvet garment?

I Need to remove the smell of odour from dresses / costumes that can't be washed or dry cleaned most are velvet material

    Spray with Febreeze for freshening up fabrics, available from supermarkets.

    I would use an enzyme cleaner , found at any pet store . This literally " eats " natural substance s like feces , urine & vomit , I would think sweat , as well . Then I would hang them outside , fresh air and the sunshine works wonders . Good luck !

    Make a solution of one tablespoon of lemon juice to one cup of water. Place in a spray bottle and mist the shirt or garment all over. If this is not possible, then hang it up in an area that has good air circulation. Once dry, your clothes will have a fresh smell.
