Yes. buy nice looking large container. put stones and rocks in bottom, add garden dirt from any garden store or even Walmart. Plant what you want. If you have climbing beans or tomato plants, get a small tomato cage

Yes, you can grow them in containers. Make sure you have a mixture of compost and soil for best results.

First thing to check is to make sure there is sufficient sun exposure. The plants you are looking at demand lots and lots of sun to produce the fruits. If there isn't enough sun, there will be more foliage than produce. And of course you can! There now are these awesome black fabric pots that are excellent. They allow the root systems to breathe and they also retain the heat during the night and produce fantastic results. They are marketed under the name of Magic pots. No need to add drainage stones on the bottom since they are made of fabric. They come in different sizes and when the season is over, they are easy to store....just empty them, rinse, dry, and store them away until the next year. They are light weight too which is a bonus. Sometimes we need to move our "garden" around, or just change their positioning. Hope to have inspired you! Happy gardening ;-)

Oh, and one more suggestion, I would go to a garden center and get the best potting soil for vegetables. They require different soil from that sold for flowers. Usually it has some compost added.

Just a thought, peppers and tomatoes LOVE to grow together (in the same pot even). Cucumbers can also be grown in a hanging pot! So, yup....you can grow in containers in an all paved yard Pat!

You can grow most veg in containers as long as the get enough nutrients, water and light and seed companies breed compact varieties for just this purpose. If you look on the back of seed packets they often have suggestions about which variety is suitable for containers
