Pillows, upgrade your curtain rods, or add in some nice lighting.
Cut photos out of rooms that you think look expensive and copy the basics. In my opinion, the sleeker the furniture and a color scheme that has fewer colors that coordinate creates a more expensive look. Clutter and many accessories cheapen the effect. Subtle and correctly placed lighting that focuses on specific items/areas of a room also give it a more expensive look.
