I have been searching for a new shower curtain. All the designs are too loud and cheap looking. I have alot of curtains that I can use. Does anyone have any ideas?

just buy a shower liner and put behind the cloth curtain.

there was a post about making a panel out of quilt squares for the shower curtain. also saw someone that had a handkerchief collection that she sewed together and used. as long as you have the shower liner hung, you should be able to go to town. make an applique panel. you don't have to sew it - there is fusible fabric that you can simply iron the pattern you have cut out, pieced down on the fabric and iron it together. you can stitch it down later if you want, but you don't have to.

Use a flat sheet just cut the top for the rings

The top of the sheet, or material of similar weight, will require more preparation than just 'cutting' as suggested above. Unless the inside of the top band where the holes, or grommets, will go through is reinforced properly (sandwiched inbetween the layers) the holes will rip and tear and the hooks will pull out in no time.
