    Hi Debra,

Could you post a picture of the area you want to get rid of the grass, it is hard to tell from your question...it is a few inches or a much larger area?

Also, the treatment might effect your neighbor's grass...does that matter?

Please get back to us so you can get the answerr you need that is best for all involved.

Hi Debra. A mix of salt and vinegar will kill the grass and sterilize the soil in that area so nothing will grow. I pour 1 cup salt into 1 gallon vinegar, shake well, and pour.

White vinegar (pure vinegar) will kill all plants.

    Hi Debra,

The mixture Karen gave you is the best way to kill anything between the fences, if you can access the area. I do recommend that you add a few drops of Dawn or other dishwashing soap because it helps the mixture stick to any weeds that are currently there. I hope this helps. Wishing you the best.
