My best guess is that it is on a different circuit breaker. A helper could flip switches for you while you test. I would try to figure it out so the panel can be labeled correctly.

Get an electrician involved, if you’ve tested every other breaker and it’s still not “dead”.

Are you going to replace the light fixtures?

    HI ShannonJoe,

I agree with Cynthia. The light has to be connected somewhere and I agree that it is probably miss marked. We had that happen when we bought our home. Have someone turn off each breaker one at a time, until you find the one that turns off the light. Then mark that breaker. Wishing you the best.

Yes, it is a wise to take the time to properly label each individual breaker on a home electrical panel. You will see that it is possible to have outlets and switches in one area of a house on several different circuits.

Label as to location or as specifically as possible, for example, north corner bedroom, rather than personal indicators, such as 'Bob's room', or vague markers, such as 'new closet'.

As the spaces on the actual panel are often tiny, I have found that it is best to type and print out the indicator list, then tape it close to the panel where it can easily be seen.
