K-Cup Dollar Store Skull Makeover

I recently took a trip to the dollar store for some craft material browsig. I came across these cool skulls, but they looked a bit plasticy. I decided to bring them home and give them a small steam punk makeover. They turned out really cute!

Start off by pouring some brown paint over the skull.

Then, using a napkin, wipe the paint all over the skull, and make sre to get the paint in those cracks too!

Next use your paint brush and paint the eyes by just poking your paint brush in and out. Then go over the cracks and small areas with your paintbrush as well.

I then used some black paint to cover over the gold base. It makes it look just a bit aged.

This was fun idea! I took some black K cups and glued them to the top of the skulls to make them little hats.

I then glued some feathers to the base for some extra detail.

Here he is- how fun, right? I figured a set of 3 would be a good way to go.

Not bad for just $1!
