DIY Stenciled Curtains for the Dorm Made From a Twin Sheet

After moving my daughter in the dorm over the weekend, I'm exhausted but excited to share the DIY Stenciled Curtains I made for her room. Since college is already so expensive, I wanted to make the decor as affordable as possible, so I used a twin sheet for the fabric! To decorate the plain white sheet, I painted black and pink triangles on the top with a great stencil.
Curtains are very do-able in the dorm. We used Command hooks to hold a dowel rod.
I cut the sheet down the middle, creating two 96" panels. By cutting them in half, I only had to hem one edge on each and create the curtain pocket at the top.
I lined the stencil up with the edge of the curtain and dabbed the Stencil Creme on to the fabric.
I decided to only create 4 rows, at the top of each panel.
They make her dorm so warm and welcoming....and a little more like home!
