Anita....I can be cleaned and painted. You should use a good primer and then paint plus Kiltz has colored primer now and reduces the work! Good luck!
We bought a home that needed cosmetic work. For one thing, every room was paneled in dark, cheap paneling. Some of it was warped. We used calking and filled in all the cracks. Then we primed it with Kilz aroma free primer. Then we painted each room a nice light color we loved and even wallpaper border at the top. It turned out beautiful! Hope this helps
Hi ! Paint is your best answer !!! Our 3 season room had the ugliest paneling I had ever seen !!! It was white and green !!! Yuck !!! I had plenty of left over light gray paint from our small bathroom . We didn't even use primer ! It covered the ugly paneling in 1 coat and total transformed the room . Good luck !!!
