Hi Kay. I'm Cindy. My husband and I have a headboard on our "to do" list. We want to get an old door (probably at our new Habitat For Humanity Store). I think we could lay the door on its side and then attach a mantle down the length of the door. Paint the whole thing an off white. Then attach finials on both ends. I want to anchor it into the studs in the wall behind our bed. Good luck Kay. Sweet dreams.
