How do I paint a bench cushion?

Paint a muslim covered foam bench cushion. The muslim has a few stains. Would like to give it more character by adding different hues of grey and blue. Not sure what type of paint and if it should be watered down.

Hello Barbara! You can paint material with chalk paint. I have yet to do this but it might be worth a try. Sounds like it works successfully from everything I have read. I have included a few posts for you to consider! It does appear that you do water down the paint 4 to 1.
