Ok, so this was me taking a huge risk with this project and I love it so much.

I still walk by it and can't believe it's plastic lol

This is a must have and you get to recycle something you would normally throw away.

I love eucalyptus so I went with plain greenery but I think flowers would also work with this.

I also love the simplicity of it, but you can also add burlap ribbon to the top. It's your project so you can custom it to your liking.

For the materials I used:

Plastic container

Eucalyptus

Textured spray paint

Sticky dots (dollar tree)

And I Know there's crazy glue in the pic but I didn't need it because the dots i bought were already sticky, just purchased it in case they wouldn't stick.

First wash your container of all it's labeling and residue.

It should be dry and clean before you start

Then you can start putting on the stickers. I crisscrossed the stickers making a diamond like shape as I went.

It should be fully covered

Now you can spray paint, I did about 3 coats

And your all done 😊

BEAUTIFUL. Its missing something like. hemp rope, jute, leather or even lace wrapped around the top of the new jar to cover the twist jar look. It'll REALLY POP!

  • I really love this and I totally love using glue dots instead of the puffy paint way I've seen!! I saw you on the Hometalk Insta stories this morn and came to check it out.
