How can I repair sun-bleached hardwood floors?

How can I fix Hardwood Floors that have been bleached by the sun. Is there a way without sanding the whole off?

Good advice from Ann and Lynn. One consideration though...are they true hardwood floors, or laminate floors? Many people are in the habit of calling laminate floors ‘hardwood’. Deciding which they are will determine your options. If they are true hardwood you have options. If they are laminate your only option will be to replace the bad sections. With laminate, the wood look is so thin it can’t be sanded.
