It is humid here in Florida, there is dust on them and it is adhered by the humidity in the air, worried about wiping them as the bend easily, so not sure that would work, but, thank you!
You might want to consider replacing them with roller shades which wouldn't be such a constant cleaning nightmare. You can order them from Walmart for as little as $6. Maybe get them for one room and see how you like them.
