  • Any hardware or home improvement center sells a "paint on" porcelain repair. I used on my kitchen sink. Worked like a charm. You just need to commit to not using the sink for a couple days so it really hardens.

Diane....You can buy fillers and touch-up repairs for porcelain at Amazon or Walmart. Some look alot like bottles of nail polish. Good luck. Make sure you follow prep directions such as cleaning and possibly sanding.

For just one chip like this one, a little bottle of porcelain chip touch up paint should be ample amount. It is available in several different brands.

I used this on my bathtub and although the picture on the box of the white shade looked like a perfect match, it was way off. How can I figure out which white color to buy?

Unfortunately, there is no industry consistency in what color of 'white' the different brands of the white paint are. If you don't want to keep buying additional bottles of the touch up paint, trying to get the exact color match, perhaps it would be easier and faster to just purchase a brand new basin.
