I flip my lid on the pot and then stack them. You can also put lids in an organizer or use a dish rack. That will allow you to stack bowls and pots inside each other.

It all depends on what kind of pots and pans you have and what kind of storage space you have. shallow pans like frying pans I hang on a lower wall across from my stove. Pan lids are near doorway of kitchen in the room we eat in (we call it the "blue" room.) The lids are hung from push pins on a wooden cabinet that holds glasses. Over our stove we have a small "pot" garage that holds small pans. The shelf above this holds stacked pans that belong to the set. BUT we have a town swap shop where you can find lots of things and I pick up pans or teakettles or tea pots . . . lots of things; and so keep a couple of these pots on our stove top. Since my kitchen is so narrow (you can not pass if d.w. is open) I use over door and window shelves, for more storage. But decoratively arranged.

I have no lower cabinets in my kitchen. Here was my solution. I hung a pot rack in front of my kitchen window and I love it. I was fortunate enough to find a commercial Calphelon pot rack at Goodwill for $8.00 and my handyman hung it for twenty dollars! I am so Blessed! Good luck!
