Cinnamon works for germinating seeds. I haven’t tried it for grafting. It seems to prevent rotting during germination. Some seeds you can nick with finger nail clippers a little bit them place them between damp paper towels for a few days. Fresh seeds work best but even older seeds are worth a try.
You can make a homemade rooting hormone using willow bark.
Mix a tablespoon of Epson Salt in a gallon of water. Pour this solution on the soil at the base of your plants. Then give them extra water. The extra water will help the roots receive the Epson Salt. This process puts enzymes back into the soil and plants thrive with it. You can reapply every 2 weeks.
