    Hi Laura,

If you have artwork and would like to make an arrangement, lay it out on the floor in front of your wall and place each piece in a way you'd like to see it displayed. This would work for what ever you have to put up there.

Your den should make you feel restful with a comforting and comfortable atmosphere. If you are close to family, a photo gallery; if you love wildlife, nature gallery; if you love crafts, display some of your hobby projects; if you love cats, some cute kitty photos; if you love the ocean, a collection of favorite shells; if you love plants, some air plants or succulents; if you love to travel, a collection of the states where you have been. My mom collected bells and had a collection on free standing shelves of bells from every state where she had visited. (I would not want to dust all that so I kept a FEW of her bells when she passed away). Laura, it should reflect your hobbies or life that makes you smile and feel happy. In our den I have family heirloom oil paintings as every generation in my family has had painters! Oh, they would never sell for much, but they are good and are of various places in the mountains where my family has spent summers etc so they mean the world to me. I hope this sparks some ideas for you. If you find a hobby you love more, you can always change it out!
