Van, when we did ours we washed the wall with warm soapy water, then we cut the back splash to fit the area. They come with grid paper to be able to know the size on the back and judge the right size. Then we put them up as per the instructions that came with our peel and stick back splash. It turned out beautiful and we had never done it before that day. It really is that easy. Hope this helps

Our personal choice was a metallic one. At the time we had a brass look, the tiles looked 3 Dimensional and it was beautiful in our home at the time. We got ours at Lowes, but they had silver and copper look too. We had our home 21 years and it still looked new when we sold it. It washed off easily too (one of the reasons for choosing it). Yes there are many more now from which to choose. Consider your home decor (I would not choose brass look today , it would be brushed silver or even bronze) but it is a personal choice. How is your home decorated such as the over head ceiling fans, are they mostly brushed silver or bronze? Are your door knobs etc the same? I would go with the "house" over all decor. Hope this helps you choose.

Use a utility knife to cut the sheet to size. Then, simply peel and stick.

    Hi there,

Don't try to do the whole length in one go! Small amounts run up and down are much easier to fix. Best wishes
