How can I paint this chair to look country but pretty enough to be in my living room? Open to suggestions of any kind of how to make it more attractive.

A pale blue or green would convey the country look but don't know how well those shades would work in your room. What other colors are currently in the room? Is the chair in question stained or painted right now?

I don’t know what the chair looks like but maybe try paint it cream colored then do small rose decals all over it with a cushion
