What crafts can I make using pinecones?

I have unlimited access to pine cones of various sizes. Other than painting them what creative craft can I use?

Glue to a wreath form for a pine cone wreath. Paint and glue a sequin on each branch for a mini Christmas tree. Use as fire starters for a fireplace.
I soak on cinnamon oil and sell them as scented. Also dip 3/4 in wax and sell as fire starters.
Roll in sticky mediums /corn syrup;honey;etc. Then in bird seed!
Hi Carolyn - This is a great all-natural way to "bleach" pinecones without the harmful bleach chemicals! It only takes a few minutes of hands-on time. Hope this helps with some inspiration. Hugs, Holly
