Diligent training. Must take them out shortly after drinking and eating. Preferably to a spot other dogs have gone. Plus first thing in morning and last thing before bed. Also use a crate when you're not home. They usually won't pre in their bed. Check out the many books and videos on the subject. Can take up to 6 months so patience and routine is the key.

Take your dog for a walk, great exercise and green grass.

  • For trouble areas, spots the dog returns to to urinate, use a product called Nature's Touch to clean up the urine. This helps to break down the enzymes in their urine, so they won't come back to the same spot.

In the house? Take them out more often, praise them when they go and give them a treat. If the dog is older it may be a bladder issue. Did you take them to the vet to see if they have a bladder infection? If it is an older dog, puppy pads may do the trick. They are scented with an attractant for the dog to go to. Vet check up would be first.
