How can I clean out the mildew smell from wet clothes?

I left a bucket of socks soaking and forget about them now I can't get the mildew smell out of them

Hi ! First rehash them adding vinegar and baking soda to the wash . Then possibly do it a second time . Then even if there is still a smell hang the m in the sunshine🌞

soak them in vinegar in bucket(not too long-don't forget them again) then wash in regular wash adding baking soda to the load
